Our nation has become addicted to foreign oil use. Energy costs affect everything. The food we eat, the transportation we use (cars and air transport), heat our homes, the clothes we wear, energy costs are reflected in all aspects of our lives. This is a problem not only for us as individuals and our nation, but for the whole world.

We must find a way to reduce the use and consumption of these finite fuels, and alternative methods. It is obvious that our government and big business companies are not addressing this problem on a large scale at this point. Whatever their motives and agendas are, whether for profit, political stability, keeping things in a kind of balance, there is no impending change away from the use of these precious fuels. This change has to be carried out by individuals, and can be started now.

They have to control their fuel needs which can decrease their consumption thus by increasing their country potential from their own oil wells.

Also you can control your dependency on foreign oil by using solar or wind power to heat your home rather than using other equipments that use foreign oil.

Small and developing countries have to learn and now understand that they are in need to grow their own fuel potentiality which can be an alternative for foreign fuels so that if foreign companies stop their supply, they can still keep going.
